  • What if the secret to creating more is actually doing less?🤔

Do you ever feel like your to-do list needs a little editing? 🤦‍♀️ I know I do. I'm often guilty of taking on more than I should, especially when it comes to creative projects. There are so many ideas to explore and directions to pursue that staying focused can be a challenge.

🌸Lately, I've been making a conscious effort to simplify and streamline my creative goals- focusing on pattern creation and surface pattern design.

💡Sometimes growth isn't about doing more; it's about choosing what matters most and giving it the attention it deserves.

With that in mind, I'd like to share this trailing floral pattern, a botanical pattern inspired by a climbing vine growing in my garden. The plant hasn't bloomed yet—after all, I live in Alberta—but that's where imagination comes in. Until the flowers make their appearance, I've had the freedom to dream up my own version.

This design also reflects my love of historical textile inspiration, with its flowing forms and organic movement. I can already imagine it brought to life on Spoonflower fabric and wallpaper.😉❤️

  • Perfect Little Blenders

Popping in quickly to let my fellow sewists know I’ve uploaded a smaller version of the Trailing Tossed Leaves pattern 🌿

You can find it in my Spoonflower shop under the Moody Floral Collection — or search ID #21489443.

It’s a little hard to tell in the photos☀️☀️☀️but the leaves are a soft white and gentle grey - earthy tones.

Feel free to reach out if there are other prints you’d love to see in a smaller scale or different colours—I’m always happy to hear your ideas!
  • Waxed canvas, leather, and the in-between moments.
The lining fabric was designed in my studio and is available in my Spoonflower Shop.
